FIREFOX ON STEROIDS
Firefox is a browser, by Mozilla, and arguably, the best browser available. The best part is that Firefox is free! Firefox’s companion in the Mozilla stable is the email client, Thunderbird.
Some people declare that Internet Explorer(IE) and Outlook Express are the most popular and the numbers prove this. However, this is only true because they come pre-installed with Microshaft’s Windows OS(Operating System). Remove them from Windows and see how well they are received.
Firefox is the best browser for many reasons, but mainly because it is fast, secure and infinitely more customizable. Another reason Firefox is good is because it is open source software, which means that you can access the source codes and customize it to your hearts content. With Windows IE, you can’t fiddle under the bonnet because Bill Gates and his team won’t release the source code. Microsoft’s interests are based on monetary gain and business competitiveness.
Firefox is supported by huge community, a multitude of developers and happy Internet surfers from around the world.
Firefox on Steroids is designed to provide the latest news and developments on Firefox and Mozilla products. We are here not to compete with Mozilla, but purely to complement and enhance Mozilla’s fine products.

FIREFOX THEMES
Firefox has the an array of themes to choose from and you can find them on Firefox’s website. There is a vast array of themes provided by the community to change the appearance of Firefox to suit your needs. I personally use Nasa Night Launch, which is a dark theme. It prefer it because it is easier on my eyes, than some light colored theme, which is too bright on my aging eyes.
FIREFOX ADDONS
Firefox has a plethora of addons or extensions. Because I am a webmaster and designer, I use a lot of tools to complete my work. I use, amongst many other things, is a FTP(File Transfer Protocol) uploader to upload files to my servers, color droppers(to capture colors), HTML validation, CSS validation and blogging software for my blogs. All of these programs cost some good money to buy. However, with Firefox, I have all those and others as extensions for free! Many talented developers have created Firefox versions of these software’s that are equal, if not better, in many cases, than the commercial software that I have purchased over many years!
I thoroughly recommend that you spend some time perusing Firefox’s addon pages.
